Tracks + Videos: Neon Indian “Heart: Attack” & “Heart: Decay”

Neon Indian is the moniker of synth-wizard kid Alan Palomo. In 2009 he released his critically acclaimed debut album, Psychic Chasms, a collection of nostalgic lo-fi synth pop songs that put this Texas-raised 21 year old boy on the radar of every music blog. On September 13 Alan is set to release his much anticipated second album, entitled Era Extraña, the result of several months of recordings done in Helsinki during the last winter. While we wait for that, there are two videos to keep the anticipation levels going strong: Heart: Attack and Heart: Decay are part 1 and 2 of a three-part instrumental series to be featured on the album and they were turned into teaser videos with random (and beautiful) shots of Alan in Helsinki that somehow seem to lift the veil on what to expect from Era Estraña. Check both videos below.
